Nestled in lush greenery, Joly Tiny House will give you a unique experience. Stay in sweet harmony in the meadow among the sheep. Enjoy the song of the birds, admire the bees foraging in the flowers and trees around you, and simply live a moment of pure nature.

Joly Tiny House is located on the edge of the Forêt de Soignes and close to several restaurants, including a Michelin-starred restaurant. The airport, the center of Brussels, Waterloo and the Hergé museum are only a 15-minute drive away. Joly Tiny House is also easily accessible by public transport.

Rest in this haven of peace after a day of sightseeing, work or walks in the forest.

The beginnings

In the early 1900s, this land and the surrounding streets formed a 23ha park called “Parc Joly” after the name of its owner, Mr. Albert Joly. The Joly estate housed a castle, a park, an orchard and a farm. Today there is nothing left of the buildings, only the beautiful centenary rhododendrons still bear witness to this era.

Our history

In 2014, we fell in love with this beautiful garden located on the edge of the forest. The vintage greenhouse, the space for our children and the proximity to the woods immediately appeal to us. We quickly put our suitcases in this pretty corner of paradise.

Our grapes greenhouse

As the months go by, we tame our new home. We follow courses organized in the village to learn how to take care of our greenhouse which shelters 10 vines. Overijse table grapes – Leopold, Royal, Muscat, Baidor, Frankenthal – are renowned throughout the country

Our bee hives

We also have become beekeepers, opting for beekeeping that respects bees, leaving them the honey they need and limiting human intervention. The bees in our hives come from a local breed and are very kind. You will never see them spinning around you, they prefer to pollinate the trees around them.

Our cameroon sheep

In addition to our dog Nestor, our cats Filou and Lila and our hens, we also welcome a family of Cameroonian sheep known for their kindness and their resistance to the cold.

Joly Tiny House

One fine day, we felt the idea of sharing this nature and these beautiful stories with you…

Joly Tiny House was chosen and designed with care. The alveolus built by the bee served as a model; a small space of perfect shape, meeting all needs such as a cozy little cocoon.

A small, perfectly eco-friendly wooden house. Joly Tiny House was handmade, 100% tailor-made as we imagined it, as we dreamed it.
